People who are reading this, PLEASE, I hope this would be a wake up call for all of you. I don’t write this for fun or telling a fairy tale like what Cinderella did. You might think , Cinderella was a innoncent, obedient and respectful girl who was being bullied by her evil step mother. This are all utter rubbish. I am going to tell you what exactly happened…
Firstly, all of us were given some houseworks to do. Our mother was not biased at all. However, Cinderella went to tell tales and claimed that she was the only one who did them all. As a result, people thought that we were bullying her. The reason why she was seen as a girl who did them all is because she was the slowest in doing housework! She could work form morning to evening!
Secondly, because she was slow in her housework, Mom forbidded her to go to the ball. Isn’t that right? If Mom let her go to the ball, she would have to work over the mid-night and she will have difficulties getting up in the morning. However, she was so smart that she managed to sneak to hall with the most beautiful dress. That time,I was red with fury and steam was coming out of my ears. She was lucky enough that I managed to clenched my fist tightly to prevent launching an attack on her.
Lastly, as you know the Prince was in love with her in the end. The reason why Mom locked her in the room is because she was too young and not ready for a relationship. Thanks to some of her friends, she managed to unlock the door and went over to the Prince. She went with the Prince is not because she loved him. It is because she hates doing housework. Also, there were gorgeous dresses and patient servants waiting for her. In addtion, living with the Prince, she could live in a palace which she had always dreamed about.
Now you know have heard both sides of the story, which side are you on NOW?

My face was boiling and my heart was beating so fast. I was furious while I marked the crappy assignments the students gave. None, I mean not even a single student gave me a serious and neat work. It made me so frustrated that I decided to put my pen down and give up marking their crappy work.
Not making a second thought, I went straight back to the classroom and threw back all their assignments.
” What’s the point of marking when you all do not even want to make an effort to learn?” I remarked.
I could see their faces changing. Suddenly all of them stood up and some walked towards me. On the contrary, the others start to make dirty remarks and want to put up a fight with me. They became so rowdy that almost the whole school could hear. I felt that there is no point to stop them beacuse I am now in the loosing battle.I did not hesitate further and walk away.As I had expected, they called me a “coward” but I ignored them and continued to walk back to the staff room.
I was full of tears. During my early days, I always wanted to be a teacher, a teacher whom students love and could share with. Today, I come to realised that I was so wrong and thought of giving up my career. The students showed me their attitude and called me a “coward”. In addition, I have to sleep very late to mark their work and have no time to spend with my friends and relatives. My heart sank deeply and I could not pull myself to face reality.
Suddenly, a teacher told me that a student name John wanted to see me. John gave me a tissue and told me to wipe my tears away. I did what he told me and I was so shocked when he gave his assignment, the one which I threw back. Not saying a word,he ran off speedily and I opened up to take a look. His handwriting was so neat ,that made me teared more. This time, I now come to understand that not all students are bad after all . I realised I was too rude to them in the first place and should not have threw the assigntments on them. I was about to apologise to them when I felt something at the back of the assignment. I took it out and read.
Suddenly…

Hearts were thumping fast as the girls waited for their results. Many of them walked in and out of the school hall and could not sit still due to the excitement in their hearts. The girls clutched their hands tightly together and gave one another their encouraging words. When they saw the principal walking in, everyone ran into the hall as fast as a cheetah and breathed in heavily.Everyone screamed at the top of their voices and jumped with joy when the principal walked into the hall with the result slips on her hands.

I was completely clueless and my heart started to sank deeply. Thanks to my foolishness and symphathy that led me to this state. It all happened when this “poor” and cunning guy came to my house in the middle of no where.
” Please…Can you lend me your phone…You are the only one who can help me….” he enquired.
I stood in front of him and looked very shocked. He is wearing torn and dirty clothes then. In addition, he looked very down and lost.He told me that he is very poor and needs my help by lending him my phone so that he can make a call to inform his parents on his condition right now. Plus, the way he speaks make me syphathise him more.
” Please..Please” he began to knelt down and begged me profusely.
Suddenly, I felt that I am the only one who can help him.Without a second thought, I lent him my phone and told him that he must return me my phone. He promised me he would return to me as soon as possible and ensure that my phone will be in proper condition. After that day, I did not met him until…
The sun shone brightly . I was walking home from shool and it seemed to be a usual day. Suddenly, something from far caught my eye. There is a guy with brand new shoes and suit. What’s more, he looked very familiar to me. This made me so curious that I decided to walk nearer to him to take a close look. After making a few close looks, to my horror, it was the guy who pleaded me to lent him my phone. Although he noticed me, he doesn’t seemed to regconise me anymore. .Even though I make a few attempts to introduce myself and pleaded him to return my phone. The way he looked at me tells me that I am a stranger and I might have mistaken his identity. He ran away as fast as a cheetah although I was still speaking to him.
My heart began to sank. I realised I was cheated. My precious phone was gone just like that.

This picture was taken during the second day of the Straits times media club camp. Basically, Mdm Zubaidah introduced the camp to us and so we attended. There are two days in this camp. During the first day, there were many talks. The second day , there was some talks and some touring. In this picture, the guy on the left is a deejay from 91.3 and the white colour thing is actually a dustbin.(Please don’t ask me why we took it there.) During our tour at the radio station, we learnt lot’s of new things and how the radio station works. The food there was nice especially the last day after the prize presentation. After we ate the food, the three of us went home and laughed together when we were in the train.

The definitions are taken from : http://www.answers.com
Definitions
Physical abuse:Physical abuse is abuse involving contact intended to cause pain, injury, or other physical suffering or harm.
Emotional abuse: Emotional abuse refers to the humiliation or intimidation of another person, but is also used to refer to the long-term effects of emotional shock.
The reason why people do not leave their partners though they are being abused is because they still love and believe that they will help their partners change for the better one day.
To me, a good and healthy relationship should be:
Both parties are able to communicate with one another. When a party tries to share something, try to listen what they are trying to convey. One good example is sharing secrets or share their feelings especially when they are down. Secondly, learn to care for one another. When one party is troubled, the other party should ask what’s bothering them. Plus, they should also try to help if possible.Lastly, they must learn to understand one another. Once you understand one another, try to accept each other differences.

This picture show us that there is only a black man at the bottom right hand corner whereas the rest of them are Whites.
The cartoon is probably trying to tell us that the black man is Obama. In addition, he is the first black man to win the US election. The message it is trying to convey is that there is finally a black man to win the elections and people have started to accept the blacks.
Some questions that came to my mind are : Why was there no blacks to win the elections in the past? Who is the first US president? How did they started to accept the blacks?
